Caleb’s Christmas trees

eat

Crunchy, colourful li'l Christmas trees that are fun to make and perfect for dippin’ in yoghurt!

what you'll need

  • 1 carrot

  • 1 cucumber

  • Star-shaped cutter (optional)

  • Yoghurt dip

  • Cocktail sticks

what to do

  1. Wash 'n'peel your carrot, then slice into 1cm rounds. Use a star cutter on a few rounds for the tree tops.

  2. Wash your cucumber and peel into thin strips, stoppin’ before the seeds.

  3. Stack the carrot and cucumber to make your lil’ trees.

  4. Serve with a dollop of yoghurt dip - yum!

Parent note: if you’re using cocktail sticks to assemble, watch out, they can be a choking or poking hazard for li'l ones.

Bella's top tip!

Here's an easy dip recipe!  2 tbsp yoghurt 'n' tiny squeeze of lemon. Finish with pinch of salt.
