Privacy Policy
for little ones
The School Letter Swap is something you do with a grown up.
Ask them to help with your letter to check it and send it for you
What can you send?

You can send the Yog Squad a letter, story, question or drawing.

Just make sure to leave out private information- like your surname, birthday, school, passwords and other things that are unique to you.

Your grown up will check your letter to make sure no private information is in there, and to help you send it.

Why does the Yog Squad need to know my name and home address?

The Yog Squad are asking for your name and address to send back a letter just for you!

Your name is so The Yog Squad knows what to call you.
Your address is so the Postman can deliver a letter back, straight to your door.

Who will read my letter?

The Yog Squad will read your letter and write back, with a small team of trusted grown-ups at
The Collective helping them along the way.
Just like how your grown up will help you to write and send your letter!

Are the Yog Squad going to keep any of my information?

We’ll only keep your information while we need it to respond to your letter.
Then it will be deleted.

Will my information go anywhere else?

We won’t use your information for adverts or marketing.
Only the Yog Squad and the helpers at The Collective will see it.

If your letter tells us that you or somebody else might need help staying safe, we’ll share it with a trusted grown-up who knows how to help.

What if I have a question?

Your grown-up can read our full Privacy Policy or email letterswap@thecollective.co.uk with anything you want to ask.
